How quickly can I get my screens?
Our usual turnaround for screen making is 3-5 days after drop off. Please note that screen exposure and reclaiming is a local collection service only, we cannot ship them.
Where do I drop off and pick up my screen?
Screens can be dropped off with us between 9am and 5pm Monday - Thursday at the address below.
To get the best possible results from your stencil or screen, please follow these guidelines when preparing your artwork:
1. Image Setup
Resolution: Artwork should be at least 300dpi at the final print/stencil size.
Colour Mode: Please work in RGB mode.
File Format: Save your file as a high-quality PSD, JPG, TIFF, or PDF to maintain image clarity.
2. Stencil Requirements
Screen stencils can only hold pure black (100%) or no information (0%) - there’s no in-between. That means:
Block colours or vector art: Fine to submit as-is, using solid black for printable areas.
Photographs or tonal images: Use a bitmap dither or halftone pattern to simulate tonal variation. These create the illusion of gradients while staying within the hard-on/off limits required for stencil production.
Alternatively, a 50% threshold bitmap works well for stark, high-contrast images.
3. Bleed
If your artwork runs to the edge of the page (full bleed), please include a 3mm bleed on all sides.
