This illustration of the California Brown Pelican was originally created by Richey Beckett for Pearl Jam's headline slot at the 2024 Ohana Festival in California. The artwork celebrates the Pelican's triumphant return from the brink of the endangered list, after battling with environmental poisoning that compromised their ability to breed. As such, the illustration shows this beautiful bird nesting in coastal Californian flora, with a clutch of strong healthy eggs.
